When you have three months to finish a painting, can’t leave it alone and over work it, then decide four days before it\u2019s due you hate it, and completely start over.<\/p>\n

Happier with this one for the Object Afterlife Challenge @meccaeugene<\/a>. The object I was given to reuse was contact paper. Challenging due to the banality of the pattern, which my garish style easily overpowered.<\/p>\n

20″x20″ mixed media painting on gallery wrapped canvas. Collage, spray paint, gold leaf and inks, all my favorite things. Finished with oil paint.<\/p>\n
